CR-12 is part of the ASP Profiles shadow joint system and is compatible with C-4-12 for a consistent 12 mm shadow line across the project. CR-12 aluminium profiles make it quick and easy to create a 12 mm shadow joint (decorative separation) between two plasterboard panels on ceilings or walls, forming straight decorative lines. This detail is widely used in modern interiors — it helps achieve a “floating” effect and a neat separation of surfaces.

Installation instructions (brief)
- Cut the profile to the required size.
- Place the profile in the design position.
- Fix the mounting flange of the profile to the plasterboard sheet with self-tapping screws.
- Skim/finish the flange flush with the main surface of the sheet.
