1. Prices and VAT

• All prices on the website are inclusive of VAT.
• For customers from the United Kingdom, VAT (20%) is refunded after dispatch confirmation (export operation).
• We reserve the right to change product prices; however, the price remains unchanged for already confirmed orders.

2. Orders and Quotations

• Individual quotations and estimates are valid for 30 days.
• A transaction is considered concluded only after official order confirmation and agreement on all technical details.

3. Delivery and Logistics of Oversized Goods

• Delivery costs: Free shipping is not provided. The cost is calculated individually or automatically based on the dimensions, weight, and destination address.
• Cargo specifics: Our aluminum profiles are classified as oversized goods. Due to their specific dimensions, transport companies may experience delays in processing and transit times. Please take this into account when planning your installation work.
• Transfer of risk: Responsibility for the safety of the goods passes to the buyer at the moment the cargo is handed over by the transport company. We do not bear direct legal liability for delays or damages caused by the carrier.
• Our support: Despite the transfer of liability, we fully support you in insurance cases. In the event of damage or loss of cargo, we independently negotiate with the transport company, assist with filing claims, and promptly send a replacement to ensure your project does not stand still. We always meet our customers halfway and strive to resolve logistical issues for you as quickly as possible.

4. Retention of Title

• The goods remain the legal property of Baltic Distribution SIA until the full fulfillment of financial obligations for the order. The buyer is responsible for the safety of the goods from the moment of their actual receipt.

5. Claims, Damages, and Acceptance of Goods

• Inspection deadlines: Please inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. Any visible damage to the packaging, profile deformation, or shortages must be reported to us in writing (with mandatory photo and video evidence attached) within 3 calendar days.
• Importance of deadlines: Please report problems as soon as possible. This directly affects how quickly we can obtain compensation from the carrier and reimburse your damages. After 3 days, claims for mechanical damage and completeness are no longer accepted.

6. Product Quality, Warranty, and Returns

• Product specifics: Aluminum profiles are linear building materials intended for concealed or exposed use within structures. According to international trade rules, linear goods, as well as goods that have undergone individual processing (RAL painting, cutting), are not subject to return or exchange.
• Metal warranty: We take full responsibility for the quality of the metal and guarantee that the alloy and profile geometry comply with the stated technical specifications and production standards.
• Limitation of liability during installation: We do not provide a warranty for the result of using the profile in the finished structure, as we cannot control the correctness of application, the qualifications of the installers, adherence to the technological process, operating conditions, and chemical interaction with other building mixtures or materials. The buyer bears sole responsibility for the selection of the profile and the correctness of its application for specific tasks.
