Aluminium Ceiling Shadow Gap Profile C-2M (RAL 9003 / RAL 9005)
Plaster-in aluminium ceiling shadow gap trim for indirect LED lighting, with a fixed 21 mm shadow reveal around the perimeter.
The C-2M profile by ASP Profiles is designed to create a minimalist shadow gap at the wall-to-ceiling junction and a niche for a concealed LED strip. Its precise geometry ensures straight, stable perimeter lines and a “floating ceiling” visual effect. The fixed shadow gap size is 21 mm.
Often specified as a ceiling shadow gap trim, C-2M creates a precise architectural break between wall and ceiling.
C-2M is designed for reflected (indirect) lighting: the light gently spreads across the wall, creating a smooth, glare-free gradient without a plastic diffuser. Installation is mechanical.
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminium alloy, which helps dissipate heat from the LED strip and increases the system’s durability. Stock colours are RAL 9003 (white) and RAL 9005 (black); other RAL colours are available on request.

Installation instructions (short)
- Prepare the ceiling structure and mark the lighting line.
- Install the profile around the perimeter according to the reference level.
- Adjust the depth of the light niche to achieve the required effect.
- Mechanically fix the profile.
- Fill and level joints/seams flush to the surface.
- Install the LED strip and connect the power supply.
- Complete the final finishing of the ceiling and walls.
